Head of Sales / Chief Revenue Officer

WeESG is looking for a new team member to lead our sales, client management activities, and business development  campaigns. Through this role, you will support the global financial services sector to access the tools and skills it needs  to actively transition towards the more sustainable future economies we need. 

About WeESG 

WeESG is a young, dynamic company with a mission. The global financial sector is massively changing due to  developments in sustainability, and WeESG is enabling it to effectively adapt. We actively support the global finance  sector as it changes and embrace the sustainability changes increasingly required by governments, regulators, and  clients. We provide our clients with both strategic advisory and training.  

Founded by three former colleagues of the Centre for Sustainable Finance of the University of Cambridge, the core  team stretches across Europe, Asia, Americas, the Middle East and Africa - plus a curated network of experts across  academia and finance. We strive to stand out by delivering the very highest quality of advice and knowledge across  climate risk, impact, biodiversity, renewable energy, carbon credits, and much more.

Who we are looking for 

WeESG has been on a rapid growth journey in recent years, showcasing an impressive portfolio of some of the  leading global financial services companies, regulators, and corporates whom we have both trained and advised. Most  of this growth has been led by our founding team of Clarisse, Thomas, and Tom. We are now looking for a dedicated Head of Sales / Chief Revenue Officer who can help take our journey to the next level. Ideally (but not strictly) you: 

• Are a great person who can work independently and collaboratively within a small and supportive team. • Have experience in business development, are results orientated, and work hard to drive quarterly sales. • Understands finance (especially banking) and can communicate across the sector and different geographies. • Are curious about sustainability, sustainable finance, and training; and 

• Are keen to learn and grow and push your comfort zone. 

Things you can help us with 

• Design, lead, and deliver targeted sales and marketing campaigns. 

• Oversee and manage the sales pipeline and proposal process. 

• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient CRM, and sales management system. 

• Inform future product development via market insight. 

• Ensure WeESG remains an enjoyable and supportive place to work.
