City Hive champions mid-career women, those who despite working hard to get to where they are, find there is still so much more to be done. GAIN inspires and educates young women at the start of their journey.

Together, our goal is smashing the Gender Pay Gap, ensure a fair and equitable representation of women at senior level and, by doing so, future proof the investment sector.

And in case you thought that was in hand, a recent report on Gender Balance surveying FTSE 350 Chairs and CEOs Chief Executives on reasons for not appointing women to the board, produced the following gems.

Bhavini Bev Shah is the founder and CEO of City Hive. She was previously a Senior MultiManager Analyst and member of the Aviva Investors Multi Asset team. Frustrated by thelack of diversity, Bev founded City Hive in 2016 to challenge the investment and assetmanagement industry and be a force of positive change. A champion for greater diversityand inclusion, Bev collaborates with the Diversity Project and Women in Banking andFinance. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Accountancy from City University (CASS).

Charlotte Yonge is Co-Founder of GAIN. Charlotte is an Investment Manager at Troy AssetManagement, where she manages the Trojan Ethical Fund, with responsibility for multi-asset coverage and the analysis of global companies and their selection for Troysportfolios. It is a job that takes her around the world, meeting companies and learning aboutnew markets. Before joining the world of work she studied Modern and MedievalLanguages at Cambridge.

Mona Shah is a Director at Stonehage Fleming Investment Management, with 14 yearsexperience in portfolio construction and manager selection across all asset classes and is amember of the Investment Committee. Mona is responsible for Stonehage Fleming GlobalSustainable Investment Portfolios and is an Ambassador and friend to both GAIN and CityHive. Mona has a first-class BSc (Hons) degree in Economics and Politics from theUniversity of Bristol.

Mandy Kirby is Co-Founder and Chief Strategist for City Hive. With almost two decades ofexperience in advisory, research, analysis and sustainability, she is an advocate for culturalchange in the investment industry to ensure greater inclusion, diversity and equality.Mandy was previously part of the leadership team at the UN supported Principles forResponsible Investment as Director of Reporting Assessment and Accountability. Mandyholds a BA (Hons) in Politics and East European Studies from University College London.
