NEURODIVERSITY – DIVERSE MINDS AT WORK
Posted: December 3rd 2019Neurodiversity refers to the diversity of human brains, and considers differences of how our brains are 'wired' as simply another natural variation in humans. It is often used to specifically cover autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia, amongst others.
It is estimated that around 10% of the worlds population is neurodivergent, so we will all have colleagues already among us. Many individuals display very unique skills, ranging from creative thinking to process structuring.
To improve understanding of how to unlock this potential, our event will aim to explain and educate the audience about aspects of neurodiversity.
We will start with a presentation by Daniel Aherne, Director of neurodiversity consultancy ADJUST, covering educational aspects, followed by a panel discussion of colleagues sharing their experience.
When: December 3, 2019, 4:30-6pm (Registration will start at 4pm)
Where: Fidelity International, 4 Cannon St, London EC4M 5AB
The event is targeted at anyone interested in learning more about Neurodiversity, whether HR professionals, people managers or someone just interested in the topic.
To sign up, please email [email protected].
We look forward to seeing you.
